Brian Bowles, Clinical Director – Brian Bowles is currently working as a marriage and family therapist for The Healing Tree Counseling Agency.  As a founding member of the project, Brian believes that all people deserve to die with dignity and wants specifically to reach out to his community to ensure GLBT families receive the appropriate support necessary to go through the death and dying journey with dignity.  Brian Bowles will receive his license in marriage and family therapy this August of 2010 after completing over two thousand hours of supervision in his counseling and completing his master’s degree three years ago.  Brian also completed a post-master’s certificate in marriage and family therapy.  After working at The Denver Hospice as a grief counselor with their amazing team, a seed was planted that has developed into The Compassion Road.

The Honorable Andrew Kerr, Representative for Lakewood, Colorado – Andrew and Brian actually started their professional careers as teachers who worked across the hall from one another.  They became close friends, and Andrew’s commitment to ensuring all people have access to quality health care made him a perfect member of the team.  Andrew’s leadership for the state of Colorado has reflected his passion for all people and his strong stance on equity for all defines his leadership and voice.  He is one of the most respected leaders in the House of Representatives, and we are incredibly lucky to have him as a part of this important work.
